It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Newman of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sr. Newman and Minnie Newman; and his siblings, Dewey Jr., John, Herbert, Vineyard, Carl Newman, Lillie Smith, Hazel Weeks and Lela Bingham.
He is survived by: his sister Alice Carzell Hughes of Varnell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
