He was predeceased by: his parents, Rena Cooper and Joe Wilburn; his brother Kenneth Wilburn; and his parents-in-law, CJ and Zella Friddell.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda "Friddle" Wilburn; his son David Wilburn (Iai); his granddaughter Renka Hayatsu-Wilburn; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Wilburn, Tom Friddell (Vera), Bill Farrar and Gene Kelly; and his friends, Joe, Brandi Pruett and Lyn Dewsnap. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special first cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Dalton, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of one's choice.
