It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Jay Miles of Dalton, Georgia, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Miles and Lillian Miles; his wife Erika Miles; and his sister Jackie Burns. He is survived by: his children, Paul Forsythe, Jeffrey Patrick Lee Miles, Shawn Marie Miles, Teresa Lynn Miles, Tina Renee Miles, Samantha, Marty Kroll and Lisa Adams; his siblings, Donald "D. R." Miles and Charmaine; his brother-in-law Robert Reese; his grandchildren, Brad Lewallen, Josh Morgan, Colby Forsythe, Alec Forsythe, Gavin Giddens and Amber Jade Kroll; his great grandchildren, Robbin Forsythe and Liam Morgan; his nieces and nephews, Sheri, Tracy (Rob), Michelle, Todd and Michael Nellenbach; and his close friends, Stanley Simpson, Bobby Ankney, Nathan Wyatt, Captain Henson, Major Bedford, Big Mike, Jenny, Mike, Carla Hill, Mark, Cash Tootse and Donnie Holden. He is also survived by ten great-nieces and nephews, and six great-great-nieces and nephews.
