He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyce P. Lance and Sara Bell Lance; and his siblings, Boyce, Chris, Guy, John Lance and Sara Lance Dees.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lynne Jones Lance; and his brother Willard Harvey Lance of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cliffords Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (3675 Lundburg Rd, Washington, GA 30673).
