She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Christopher and Della Mae Shields; and her husbands, Jack W. Stinson, Marvin Ed Welch and Gilbert Esparza.
She is survived by: her son Steven Stinson; her siblings, Rosine Martin, Ruby Stinson (Oscar), Euna Vee Hannah (Ross) and Frank Shields; her daughter Annette Stinson Slade (Eddie); her grandchildren, Summer York (Alan), Joe Stinson, Eric Slaton, Noah Slade, Brad Slade (Callie), Jennifer Sherbert (Britt) and Shanna Slade (Eric); and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Stinson and Christine Williams. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Building Fund, 897 Poplar Springs Rd. Dalton, Ga 30721, in honor of her memory.
