She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold, Sr. Curtis and Laura Ann Hill Curtis; her niece Cindy Michelle Curtis; her brothers-in-law, Lanny Cooper and Benjamin Hawkins; and also Gloria Hunt.
She is survived by: her son Steven Rashad "Shad" Curtis of Smyrna, GA; her grandchildren, Tyce Maddox Curtis and Lillian "Lily" James Curtis; her siblings, Helen Pye of Canton, GA, Reta Hawkins of Calhoun, GA, Eunice Cooper of Dalton, GA, Phyllis Curtis of Nashville, TN, Shay Curtis of Marietta, GA, Lloyd Wayne Curtis (Judy) of Calhoun, GA and Harold Lamar Curtis (Mary) of Sonoraville, GA; and her close friend Scott Sandlin (Cara). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
