We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2022, at the age of 91, Harold Dawson Hilliard of Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Melba Jean Hilliard; his son Lloyd Bruce Hilliard; his mother Reva Mae Witherow; his stepfather Rob Witherow; his brother Rex; and his sister-in-law Ozella Witherow.
He is survived by: his son Brian Scott Hilliard; his daughters-in-law, Joan Hilliard and Joanne Hilliard; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Donny York, Angela and Murphy Scott; his great grandchildren, Preston and Savannah York; his sisters, Nell Lynn (James Lyles) and Brenda (Jerry Raper); and his grandmother Helmericks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Georgia Alzheimer Association or the USO.
