It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Duane McMullen of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McMullen and Betty McMullen; and his aunts and uncles, Jean Powell, Virginia Frith, Sara Helms, Joann McMullen, Dillard Snowden and Wayne Phillips.

He is survived by: his wife Tonya Philyaw McMullen; his son Morgan; his mother-in-law Dinah Marlene Hewitt of Chatsworth; his siblings-in-law, Angie Bronson (Rusty) of Crandall, Kristy McKenzie (John) of Chatsworth, Randi Philyaw (Cal Boling) of Chatsworth and Phil Philyaw (Luann) of Tunnel Hill; his aunts and uncles, Hilda Phillips, Jimmy McMullen, Tommy McMullen (Beverly), Linda Gee (Reed), Diane Tester (Bob), Johnny McMullen (Sherry) and Emily Snowden; and his close friends, Rhonda, Thomas Brown, Anita Smith and Sheila Stancill Bramlett. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
