She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Russell and Delphia Ann Owen; her husband James E. McPherson; her daughter Pamela Daneen Mcpherson Cole; and her siblings, Neil Owen, Jack Owen and Jane Hammontree.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Niki (Nathan Lawson); her great grandchild James David Andrew Worley; her daughter-in-law Tammie Owens; her sister-in-law Phyllis Owen of Dalton, GA; her sister Syble; and her brother-in-law Elbert Knight. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ponders Funeral Home - Dalton (138 Melrose Dr, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
