She was predeceased by: her parents, Judson Hilburn and Daphine Hill Stancill; and her son Scotty Cargal. She is survived by: her husband Marion Cargal; her children, Van Cargal (Tiffany), Chastity Durham (David), Freda Harrison (Timmy), Samantha Flood (Randall), Rhonda Crowder and Rebena Long (Kenneth Newberry); her brothers, Billy Hilburn and Jackie Hilburn; her aunts, Charlotte Manley and Linda White; her sister-in-law Claire Bennett; her grandchildren, Brandie, Scotty Jr., Tommy, Ashley, Caleb, Emily, Ethan, David III, Taylor, Chloe, Tristan, McKinlee, Aidan, Maclyn, Jaclyn, Melissa, Melaine, Braelan, Landon and Reagan; her great grandchildren, Andrea Kay, Delilah, Matilda and Quincy; and her nephew Justin Hilburn.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
