He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kemp Nichols of Dalton; his daughters, Angie Morgan (David) and Kim Bolden (Sam); his grandchildren, Kathryn Morgan, Brett Morgan (Krystyna), Will Pendley and Kara Peninger (Kyle); and his great grandchild Levi Peninger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
