It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Lee Higgins of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spence Higgins and Marion Higgins; his grandmother Lee Jones; and his brother Spence Higgins Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Allison Higgins; his daughters, Merideth (Loyd Kirby) and Emily (Brad Ramsey); his grandchildren, Ali, Michael Jones, Andy Kirby, Chase Ramsey and Jackson Ramsey; his great grandchild Wesley Jones; his brother Maynard Higgins; and his friend Lane Davies.
