It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Long of Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Connie Long to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stinson and Edith Stinson; and her siblings, Earl Gossage and Rhonda Hardin. She is survived by: her son Laymont; her daughter-in-law Norene Long; her daughter Candac Ammons; her sister Vicki Sewell; her grandchildren, Candace Van Dyke (Tim), Jordan Long and Kaley Long; her great grandchildren, Bristin Davis, Kenley Van Dyke and Grayson Van Dyke; and her close friend Jeleta Gazaway. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mount Rachel Baptist Church or Paralyzed Veterans of America.
