He was predeceased by: his brother Johnny Ray Dempsey; and his stepmother Ada Pearl Dempsey. He is survived by: his children, Christal Price (Lafonte "P. J."), Clyde Dempsey, Jr. (April) and Jake Dempsey (Kristy); his grandchildren, Selena Wilcox, Joseph Martinez, Ethan Dempsey, Cody Dempsey, Hailey Dempsey and Jaxson Dempsey; his great grandchild Ryker Wilcox; and his siblings, Alma Ford, Lester Dempsey (Renee), Tammy Niblet (Kevin) and Johnny Driggans. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
