He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Allen Sr. and Marie Tankersley Allen; his siblings, Ellis Allen, William Allen, Jay Allen, Gary Allen, Jackie Allen, Ray Allen, Tommy Allen, Joe Allen, Stoney Allen, Winston Allen, Elise Allen and Marie West; and his sister-in-law Martha Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sowards Allen; his sons, Kendall Allen (Marsha), Bryan Rowland (Loretta) and Vince Rowland; his siblings, Charles Allen (Maryanne), John Allen, Wendall Allen (Pat), Jimmy Allen (Doris), Linda Pelfrey (Larry) and Betty Rich; and his grandchildren, Jason Allen (Tiffany), Kendall Allen Jr., Angel Hernandez, Brittany Rowland, Keith Rowland (Jade), Justin Rowland, Cameron Rowland (Tiffany), T. J. Swinford (Jennifer), Sean Swinford and Noah Allen (Sayaka). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Independently Owned and Operated Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721).
