With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Christopher Alvin Dockery of Dalton, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Christopher Alvin left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 54, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Dockery and Jean Dockery; his son Jordan; and his sister Angela. He is survived by: his children, Alisha Ellis (Zach), Breanna Dockery, Christopher, Donovan and Trevor; his sisters, Sharon Spurgeon (Bill) and Melody Starks (Michael); his stepfather John Swindell; his grandsons, Silas, Emmett and Luther; his niece Keri Spurgeon; his nephews, Sam and Gabe Starks; his great-nephews, Gavyn Davis and Harper Ellis; his great-niece Rubi Jean Cross; his cousins, Tim Dockery, Lori Ellis and Eddie Coleman; and also, Jeff and Sara Davis.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Biereley-Hale Funeral Home (4650 US-411, Madisonville, TN 37354). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Dockery Family Cemetery.
