He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stegall and Mable Burrell Stegall; his sister Georgia May Giles; and his nephew Edward Stegall Giles. He is survived by: his daughters, Stefanie Stegall of Atlanta and Amanda Thornton (Adam) of Dalton; his grandchildren, Blakely, Brenner, Bowen and Breckyn Thornton; and his niece Malissa Palmer of Winder.
