He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Dixie and Carl Gaddis; and his grandparents, Catherine, Frank Edwards, Mary and James Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Christina Anderson; his children, Owen Bean of Cleveland, TN, Cortlend Padgett of Dalton and Taylor Bean of Dalton; his father Paul Anderson of California; his stepfather Ronnie Beene of Chatsworth; his sisters, Abigail Beene of Dalton, Sharon Anderson of California and Susan (Scott Patterson); his grandchildren, Jaxon, Colson and Torryn; his uncle Darel Edwards; and his cousins, Emily and Josh. He is also survived by many friends and co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
