She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Hall and Mattie Lee Hall; her husband John Lawson Scissom; and her siblings, Wilton Hall, Dorothy White, Eloise Crosby and Margaret Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Tina Rena; her son-in-law David Flatters of Cisco, GA; her grandchildren, Jason Scissom, Kenneth Flatters, Lena Flatters-Smith and Jarrett Smith; and her sisters, Helen (David Arnold), Virginia Dixon of Dalton, GA and Betty Rentz of Baxley, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens (710 W Cuyler St, Dalton, GA 30720).
