She was predeceased by: her parents, Olen Stuart-Elrod and Ethel Stuart-Elrod; her husband Clifford Garrett; her daughter Ann Ware-Garrett Russell; and her brothers, Eugene Elrod and Wade Elrod.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruby; her son-in-law Michael Stanley of Calhoun, GA; her grandchildren, Tina Rebecca Russell of Dalton and Eric Michael Stanley of Escalante, UT; her great grandchildren, Kirsten Landeros (Christian) of Dalton, Gabriel Coker of Dalton and Diesel Stephens of Dalton; her great great grandchild Axel Landeros; her brothers, Hansel Elrod of Bangor, PA and Reed Elrod (Ramona) of Gainesville, GA; and her close friend Deron Wright of Chatsworth, GA.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Bonnie to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Dalton, GA.
