It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cochran Jones (Dalton, Georgia), who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Cochran and Lillis Brackett Cochran; and her siblings, Delmar, Cecil, Bobby, Leonard, Lloyd, Hershell Cochran, Genevie Ellis, Minnie Ruth Hollis, Myrtle Hollis Franks and Bertha Wells.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald "Dee" Jones; her daughter Angie Barton; her granddaughter Jada Croft (Justin); and her sisters-in-law, Betty Cochran of Alabama, Frances Cochran of Dalton, Sharon Miller, Alice Chute of Chatsworth and Ruth Jones. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
