She was predeceased by: her husband Glenn Edward Godfrey; her mother Stella Wimpey; her siblings, Bobby Wimpey, Richard Wimpey, Tommy Wimpey, Doyle Wimpey, Buddy Wimpey, Truman Wimpey, Harry Jr. Wimpey and Adaline Newman; and her son Michael Godfrey.
She is survived by: her children, J. R. Morris (Connie), John Morris (Peggy), James Morris (Penny), Brett Godfrey, Lucinda Smith (Michael), Tammy Cabrera (Tony) and Mistie Moore (Timothy). She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dalton Funeral Home (620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
