She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorin Mitchell Gunter and Clara Gabrielle McCook Gunter; her son John Lawrence Vaughn; and her brothers, Ted Gunter and Marvin Gunter.
She is survived by: her husband L. T. Vaughn; her sons, Robert Vaughn (Lynn) and Mitchell Vaughn (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Matthew Vaughn (Brittany), Kevin and Jennifer Perkins; her great grandchildren, Cameron Vaughn, Wyatt Vaughn and Harper Vaughn; and her brother Ronnie Gunter (Allison).
