She was predeceased by: her parents, Seab Smith and Rosia Freeman Smith; her husband H. B. Cole; and her siblings, Cleo Cole, Genelle Smith and Faye Colbert.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Blasczyk (David), Shirley Smith (Mike), Jeff Cole (Paula) and Bobby Cole; her grandchildren, Chad Smith (Camille), Jeremy Smith, Russell Blasczyk (Arianne), Ryan Blasczyk (Sarah), Blake Lenane (Danielle), Ben Cole and Hayden Cole; her great grandchildren, Peyton Waddell (Ryan Helinger), Kolby Smith, Dylan Blasczyk and Cash Smith; her great great grandchild Caroline Helinger; and her siblings, Mary Hulsey, Inez Fuller and Frankie Smith.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Mrs. Cole's honor to New Canaan Baptist Church.
