He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Edward Townsend and Ruthie Mae Fields Townsend; his wife Linda Fay Townsend; his brothers, Raymond Townsend and Danny Townsend; his children, Dwayne Townsend (Angela) and Pamela Townsend Stanley (Shain); and his grandchildren, John Townsend, Kevin Townsend, Kimberly Craton and Lindsey Morrow. He was also cherished by 13 Great Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
