She was predeceased by: her former husband Alonzo Newport; her husband Thomas Huey; her son Lonnie Ray Newport (Jay Newport); and her siblings, Anna Lee Medford, Dorothy Bailey, Mable Bruce and Dave Jackson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Newport (Cindy) and Rick Newport; and her grandchildren, Michelle Dockstader, Shana Siuts, Ricky Newport, Kelli Newport and Jason Newport. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
