He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Brooks and Beatrice Blackwell; his sister Muriel; and his wife Deborah Brooks. He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Brooks (Lynn), Linda Sparks (Obie) and Tony Blackwell (Sandra); his children, Paul Brooks (Archana), Melissa Royals and Chris Spinks; and his grandchildren, Mariah, Morgan and Xander. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
