He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Evans; his parents, Leo Evans and Dovie Wilkins Evans; and his brothers, J. D. Evans, Dale Evans, Fred Evans and Ted Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Evans (Karol) and Michelle Hutcheson; his grandchildren, Dusty (Heather), Zach (Courtney), Evan (Khristina) and Kinsley (James); his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Bladen, Emersyn, Ryder, Jake, Judson, Rinley and Elliot; and his siblings, Leroy Evans, Tim Evans, Bessie Tims and Brenda Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Funeral Home & Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sam Clark Chapel (4373 Atlanta Hwy, Hiram, GA 30141-1827). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cheatham Hill Memorial Park (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
