He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh M Roberts and Molly Cole Roberts Shead; and his siblings, M. B Roberts, Kenny Shead, Radford Roberts and Betty Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Guynell Roberts; his sons, Jeff Roberts and Nathan (Jennifer Roberts); and his siblings, Waymon Roberts of Dallas, Edward Roberts of Dallas, Danita Harper and Sarah Roberts. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
