He is survived by: his wife Louise Cochran Black; his sons, Charlie Black and Ben Black (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jimmy Bishop, Jessica Black, Charles Neal Black, Aaron Black (Jennifer) and Kellie Edwards (Khris); his great grandchildren, Corbett Bishop, Chase Bishop, Conner Bishop, Luke Black, Jackson Black and Amelia Elo Edwards; his great great grandchild Coraline Bishop; and his brother David Black (Doniver). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to First Baptist Church of Dallas, GA.
