She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Adams and Leila Adams; her husband Ralph Hicks; her son Ralph Van Hicks; her granddaughter Lisa Dawn Hicks; and her siblings, Thelma Freeman, Alma Hall, Freda Ramsey, Bill Adams and Eunice Dozier.
She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Dean Hicks and Mark Anthony Hicks (Kimberly Carroll); her daughters-in-law, Linda Hicks and Karen Hicks; her grandchildren, Amanda Norris (Daniel), Jessica Ballentine, Haley Smith (Michael), Cody Hicks (Meredith), Caleb Hicks (Bridgett) and Rebekah Sorrells (Trey); her great grandchildren, Taylin Norris, Mason Norris, Easton Hicks, Knightley Hicks, Logan Ballentine, Grayson Smith, Cataleya Hicks and Destiny Cook; and her brothers, Wallace Adams (Sue) and Walter Adams (Retha).
