She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wilson Jr. and Addie Lee Barber Wilson; her husband Albert Kersey; her son Juan Maurice Kersey; and her siblings, Henry Lewis Wilson, Floizell Wilson and Deborah Wilson Collins.
She is survived by: her daughter Una Kersey of Douglasville; her grandchildren, John Kersey (Ovetta) of Dallas, Joe Wesley Moore Jr. (Marcy), Carlos Anthony Moore, Jason Kersey, Justin Maurice Moore and Myia (Leland Andry); and her siblings, Vergia Wilson Jones, Kittie B. Jenkins, Dura C. Wilson and Leander Wilson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
