She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Glen Smith and Rose Taulbert Smith; her children, Mike Boles and Amanda Boles; and her grandchildren, Linda Hughes and Arthur "Spud" Casey.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Boles; her children, Patti Casey Read and Steve Boles; her grandchildren, Zachary Crowe, Alexander Boles, Daniel McDonald, Kayla Cole, Michelle Boles, Nick Barclay, Victoria Epps and Gracey Boles; and her siblings, Barbara Smith Woods (Marcus Woods) and Richard Smith (Vivian Smith).
