It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lessie Mae Thornton of Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Ealy and Addie Mae Matthews; and her husbands, Buck George and Wilburn Thornton. She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Cook (Terry) of Carrollton and Shelia Gibson (Paul) of Villa Rica; her grandchildren, Shane George (Amy), Kami Coleman (Justin), Amanda Campbell (Kevin) and Jason Ponder; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew, Bella, Riley, Rey, Skyla and Riverlyn. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
