He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Lee and Donnie May Wilson; and his brothers, Hugh Mitchell and Donald. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jean; his sisters, Barbara Childs and Suzanne Wilson; his children, Jena Puckett (Jon), Corbett (Rachel), Cheryl Porambo (John) and Chara Parrott (Scottie); his grandchildren, Dakota Callahan (Rachel), Brooke Parkey (Jonathan), Taylor Thompson (Jarod), Christopher Puckett, Charis Barnett (Andrew), Will Puckett, Macey Porambo, Preston Parrott, Jake Porambo and WesLee Parrott; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Travis, Drake, Dawson and Denver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Legacy Baptist Church (2976 Dallas Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA 30132). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Legacy Baptist Church.
