She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Upchurch and Sarah Ellen Moore Upchurch; and her husband Bob Gurley. She is survived by: her children, Toppy Gurley (Rhonda) and Tana Gurley Parker; her granddaughters, Jordan Hutchinson (Brad) and Macy Parker; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Laila, Luke and Avery Hutchinson; and her sisters, Jonell Fligg and Carolyn Barnett.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Missionary Baptist Church (3022 Mt Olivet Rd, Dallas, GA 30132). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
