She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clay Stone and Wilma Branham Stone; and her brother William Bryan Stone. She is survived by: her sister Memory Marcelle Bearden; and her sons, Stephen Todd Laverty (Vicki) and Thomas "Tom" Laverty (Beth).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
