He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Artigas and Elsa Artigas; and his parents-in-law, Paul and Rita O'Reilly. He is survived by: his wife Frances Artigas; his children, Kimberly Artigas, David Artigas (Laura) and Jennifer Michael (Paul); his brother Jose Artigas; and his grandchildren, Hudson, Victor and Sylvia.

A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (4300 King Springs Rd SE, Smyrna, GA 30082).
