He is survived by: his wife Joan Scala; his daughters, Laura Lecompte, April Webb and Tina R. Thomason; and his stepchildren, Jennifer Feaster, Nicole Scala, John Scala III and Dominic Michael Scala. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
