He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cephus and Mary Augusta Ragan; and his siblings, Joe Ragan, Mary Alice Lamb and Willa Francis.

He is survived by: his wife Frances I. Ragan; his daughter Sabrena Gallimore (Keith) of Paulding County; his grandchildren, Ashley Camacho (Paul) and Amber Dodd (Neil); his great grandchild Isabella Camacho; and his pet Lucy.
