Geneva Cooper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geneva Cooper of Dallas, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parent Margie McClendon; her husband Rufus Cooper; her son Derrick Cooper; her granddaughter Breanna Cooper; her great grandchild Calek Windom; her grandparents, Susie P. Moore, Ella McClendon, Jesse Moore (Buck) and Ed McClendon; and her siblings, Reverend Willie Paul McClendon and Paulette McClendon Bannister.
She is survived by: her son Rodjeska Cooper (Kristina); her grandchildren, Candace Windom, Joshua Cooper, Tyresha Cooper, Kirea Cooper, Sydnie Cooper and Savon Cooper; her siblings, Bonnette McClendon, Rochelle McClendon Ellis (Jeffrey), Jesse E. McClendon, Fredrick McClendon (Marty), Micheal McClendon (Vanessa) and Danny Ray McClendon; her sisters-in-law, Willene Cooper Holmes (Moses) and Ann Cooper; her daughters-in-law, Sylvia Brodie and Keloa Cooper; and her close friends, Julia Montgomery, Onethia Hill and Leslie Harris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mack Eppinger and Sons Funeral Home (210 N Bartow St, Cartersville, GA 30120). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (26 Shiloh Church Rd, Taylorsville, GA 30178).
