He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Clayton and Grace Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hicks Clayton; his children, Michael Clayton, Ray (Joy Clayton), Ben (Borgia Walker), Lylia (John Hitchens), Shellie (Ric Kasulas) and Tracey (Dale Cook); his siblings, Alan Clayton of Johnson City, TN, Dr. Buddy (Janice Clayton) and Susan Clayton of Johnson City, TN; and his sister-in-law Yolanda Green of Rome, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine (9) great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
