He is survived by: his wife Frances Brinkley; his children, Scott Brinkley (Michelle), David Brinkley (Dana Smith), Melissa White (William), Chuck Dobbs (Caroline) and Gary Dobbs; and his siblings, Tommy Brinkley, Margie Brinkley and Dale Butterworth. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
