She was predeceased by: her parents, Marjorie Murphy and Joseph Murphy; her husband Gordon Lloyd Beatty; her daughter Mary Helen Cain; her daughter-in-law Barbara Beatty; and her siblings, Lewelyn Murphy and Mary Morgan.

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Beatty (Cindy) of Dallas, Georgia and Richard Beatty (Arlene) of Peterborough; her sister Gwendolyn Dekat of Huntsville; and her grandchildren, Christine Voykin, Heather Fleury, Matthew Beatty, Timothy Cain and Robert Cain. She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren.
