With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Craton Durham of Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris Craton shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris Craton farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Monroe Craton (Rushie Ann Ratteree) and Rushie Ann Ratteree Craton. She is survived by: her husband Fred Durham; her children, Julie Cochran (Steve), David Durham (Mary) and John Durham (Jean); and her sister June Craton Scoggins. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (309 Hardee St, Dallas, GA 30132).
