He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Coleman Ragsdale and Lena Ann Walraven Ragsdale; and his wife Martha Katherine Shead Ragsdale. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Ragsdale Whitsett and Steven Howard Ragsdale (Gena); his grandchildren, Ryan Yaun (Kelly), Lisa Underwood (Dan) and Justin Briard (Alison); and his sister Deloris Ragsdale Gazaway. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
