He is survived by: his wife Diane Whorton; his children, Voni Meizoso (Ray), Jodi Cather (Scott), David Carl Whorton, Jr. and Mark Whorton; his grandchildren, Megan Ellis (Josh), Amanda Young (Adam), Steffanie Craig and Lauren McCullough (Sean); his great grandchildren, Brayden Young and Caitlin Young; and his siblings, Myrna Jacobs (Dan) and Dennis Whorton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
