It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Paulette Cheek of Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Claudia Paulette departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Claudia Paulette. Though Claudia Paulette may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Cheek and Jeanette Ellis Cheek; and her sister Teri Lynn Cheek. She is survived by: her stepmother Jane Duke Cheek of Blairsville, GA; her brothers, John E. Cheek (Deborah) of Gainesville, GA and Christopher D. Cheek of Dallas, GA; her nephew John P. Cheek (Rachel) of Macon, GA; her niece Ashley Wood of Decatur, GA; and her great-niece Cora Anne Cheek. She is also survived by many loving friends and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Cobb Funeral Home & Crematory (2480 Macland Rd, Marietta, GA 30064). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
