He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Ann Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Christine Thomas of Dallas, GA; his children, David Thomas, Jr. (Sue) of Gainesville, GA, Anthony Thomas (Belinda) of Villa Rica, GA, Matthew Thomas (Michelle) of Douglasville, GA and Sara Thomas of Lithia Springs, GA; his stepdaughter Tanya M. Dale of Ball Ground, GA; his grandchildren, Harrison, Meagan, Madison of Alexis, A. J. and Avery; and his siblings, Ken Thomas (Bonnie), Jerry Thomas (Cathy), Terry Thomas, Perry Thomas (Debra) and Peggy Lynn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that everyone who attends please use social distancing and wear a mask.
