She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Chris and Scott; her daughter-in-law Paige; her granddaughter Chase; her grandson-in-law Madison Gramling; her great grandchild Ben Truett Gramling of Eagle River, Alaska; her granddaughter Captain Kelsey Garcia, MD of Lacey, Washington.; her husband George Truett Barber; her parents, Gordon Griffin and Beryl Griffin of Hahira, Georgia.; and her siblings, Janice Griffin, Gene Griffin, Troy Griffin and Van Griffin.
Her contributions to the success of the hospital, both old and new, led her to being placed on the board of the hospital.
